The four-page proof layer every Indian B2B website needs

The four-page proof layer every Indian B2B website needs, cover image

Indian B2B websites usually have plenty of marketing copy and almost no proof. Buyers land, read claims, see no evidence, and bounce to a competitor. The proof layer is four pages, and most sites are missing at least three of them.

The four pages

  • Case studies hub, with at least 4 to 6 named studies and real numbers, not generic logos
  • How we work, the actual delivery process with timelines, owners and artefacts
  • Security and compliance, ISO, SOC 2, GDPR, DPDP, listed plainly with links to certificates
  • Pricing or pricing logic, even if it is a band, because silence costs more than a number

Why this layer matters more than blog content

Decision-stage buyers do not need another blog post on industry trends. They need proof. The same buyer who skipped your latest LinkedIn carousel will read the entire case studies hub before a sales call. Build for that buyer.

Common Indian B2B failure modes

  • Logo grids that show 40 brands with zero context
  • Case studies that say improved efficiency without a single percentage
  • Compliance pages that simply say enterprise grade without naming a single certification
  • Pricing pages that say request a demo, training the buyer to leave
"A B2B buyer comparing three vendors will pick the one with the deepest proof layer, not the loudest marketing."

How this fits the broader programme

We build the proof layer in the first 60 days of every B2B SEO engagement, before any blog or pillar content goes live. The 5-page B2B site essay covers the marketing core, this is the proof core that sits next to it. For SaaS, the SaaS SEO consulting programme adds an activation layer on top.

Frequently asked questions

How detailed do case studies need to be?
Detailed enough to be useful to a peer buyer. Real numbers, named context, the problem, the approach, the outcome. A 300-word case study with one real percentage outperforms a 1500-word case study with none.
Should we share pricing if competitors hide it?
Yes, especially if competitors hide it. Pricing transparency moves you up the consideration list for buyers who are tired of qualification calls just to learn a number.
Where should the proof layer live in the navigation?
Top-level. Case studies, How we work, Security, and Pricing should each be one click from the homepage, not buried under About or Resources.
